Weekly Wrap Up

This week I started sharing sources with you on my Instagram stories which has been great for those repetitive source questions I get and easy for you to find things. You can find some of the sources for our house in the "Shop Our House" section of the blog and a few rooms on my Instagram Highlights. I'm working on getting all of our rooms in both places for easy access. I'm also trying not to overload my stories with too many links. This new series "Weekly Wrap Up" will be a good place to check in to see if you missed anything and it's a place for me to share a little more of what I loved this week. I hope you like it and if you ever have any thoughts or requests please comment down below. You know I love to hear from you!

Obsessing over... the simplicity of this kitchen above, found here. I love the warmth of the wood tones, the modern sconces and the casual vibes. Major inspiration for the kitchen remodel we are just starting to think about. You can find more images that are inspiring us on my Pinterest kitchen board. All we know for sure is that we want a super casual kitchen. It's the room everyone hangs out in and we want it to be just as comfortable and chill as the rest of the house. Hoping we can make that happen!

Watching... Narcos because we didn't get into it the first time around but we are in season 3 now!

Reading... House of Cash. Written by Johnny's son, John Carter Cash. Such a cool book! It includes a valentine written to June, family recipes and his high school diploma among other things. More book recommendations in my book round up this week.

Listening to... My all time favorite Ray LaMontagne album on repeat. Jolene is pushing its way into my top 10.

Wearing... I've been living in this sweatshirt all winter. I have every color on daily rotation. I also got back on the Doc Marten train this winter and let me tell you, they are all I wear. I forgot how comfortable they are! I like this pair because the leather is super soft so I had no dreaded break-in period.

Sharing... a secret art source... Emalee Home. A great shop to follow on Instagram. She has incredible prices on vintage artwork.

Loving... We've been trying to find more ways to reduce our waste and are loving these reusable silicon food storage bags for the kids school snacks. They are leak proof and dishwasher safe. Mae uses this lunchbox everyday and Hazel uses this one. Both great quality and on year two of everyday use. I also ordered these beeswax wraps to replace plastic wrap. They have a fun pattern and great reviews.

Deal of the week... these knock off Wassily chairs. Best price I've seen so far and they come in 4 colors.

On my wishlist... owning a piece of art by Holly Addi. I've seen her work around but only just found her on Instagram this week. (One of her pieces below.)

And this lamp and sconce I've been coveting are both on sale.

My birthday is this weekend so we are hoping to head to a crazy snow tubing park but we'll be in a winter storm watch so that'll make it interesting. Gotta love Wisconsin winters!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

XO, Meg
